Edna “Gloria” Trujillo
Was called home to heaven on January 22, 2021. She was surrounded by her family as she left this world and entered into His kingdom. Gloria, as many knew her, was born April 10, 1953, in Trinidad, Colorado. A longtime resident of Vigil and San Juan Plaza, she attended Primero High School graduating in 1971. Gloria married the love of her life Ronny and raised her family both here in Colorado and in Carlsbad, California for several years. She eventually moved home and began building new friendships and fostering old ones as she worked in the community as a manager of the North Avenue Apartments. She loved her many tenants and what she did for them, helping them daily. She also loved traveling and stopping at the occasional casino to try her luck at the slots. Gloria is preceded in death by her father, John F Lopez, brothers Frank and Michael Lopez, as well in-laws Rose and Joaquin Trujillo. She is survived by her mother Virginia Lopez, husband Manuel “Ronny” Trujillo, daughter Maylynn (Archie) Vigil, son Manny (Michael) Trujillo, grandchildren Brandon Trujillo and Nikki Lynn Vigil, three great-grandchildren, and her sister Shirley Emerson and Lawrence Lopez.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 3 pm-7 pm at the Comi Chapel.
Rosary services will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 7 pm at the Comi Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 10 am will be at Sebastiani Gym.
Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
