Adam David Abeyta, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
Adam was born on January 8, 1970, to Theodore Abeyta Sr. and Ethel Trujillo in Trinidad, CO. He graduated from Trinidad High School in 1988 and obtained his Associate’s Degree in Auto Mechanics from TSJC in 1989. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as celebrating and listening to oldies music.
Adam is preceded in death by his father, Theodore Abeyta Sr., his maternal grandparents Frances and Joe Trujillo, and his paternal grandparents Elmer and Sarah Abeyta. Also preceding Adam is his uncles-Carlos Abeyta, Carmen Abeyta, Marshall Abeyta, and Aunts- Vicki Torres, Saralee Asciutto, and Priscilla Rodriguez.
Adam is survived by his son Nathan Abeyta, his mother Ethel Trujillo, his brother Ted (Adele) Abeyta, and sister Sara (Monico) Abeyta. He is also survived by nieces Celeste & Angel Abeyta, Amanda (Daniel) Phillabaum, Camilla Romero, great-nephews Luke and Daniel Jr., and great-niece Lillianna Phillabaum, as well as, other family members and friends who were all special to him.
At Adam’s request, there will be no services.
Arrangements were made under the direction of Comi Funeral Home.
