William “Billy” Leeper of Aguilar, CO passed away unexpectedly at his home in Trinidad CO on January 6th, 2022. Billy was born on November 27th, 1971 in Denver, Co. While Billy never married or had children, he assuredly brought a lot of joy to his friends and family. Even though Billy battled through myriad health issues throughout his life, he never gave up on reaching for the stars and doing what he could to reach his potential. He always had an interest in martial arts and working out and prior to an injury several years back, he was very active in his desire to stay in shape and increase his personal strength. Billy was a huge Cubs fan and rooted for the Broncos, even when it was hard to do. He did not drive due to his health so he would often be seen walking around the streets of Trinidad and Aguilar where he grew up and therefore was known to many. He was fearless, stubborn, and never wanted to be an inconvenience to anyone. You always knew where you stood with Billy as he was never one to mince words. You knew you were a friend of his if he greeted you with a smart comment or if he knocked your choice of professional sports teams. Billy will always be loved and will be missed by his friends and family. Billy is survived by his mother, Rosita Leeper of Aguilar, CO, his Brother and wife, Robert and Julie Rodgers of Lakewood, CO, His Sister and husband, Linda and Rick Sachs of Grand Junction, CO, his niece Anndrea, and his nephews Bobby, Dylan, and Tony, His Aunts Ida and Pat and lots of cousins and friends.
