December 23, 2021, at the age of 36. She was born on November 12, 1985, in Dumas, Texas to
parents Thomas Dean Kear and Shelly Delaine Minor. Tina attended school in Springer, NM.
Tina was preceded in death by her grandmothers’ Carmela E. Kear and Catherine“Peggy” Minor. She will be deeply missed by her father Thomas Kear and wife Lisa of Cimarron, NM, and her mother Shelly Minor and companion Brian of Roy, NM. Also left to cherish her memory are her children Jayden Lynn Martinez, Mariano Octavian Tafoya, and Gabriel Andres Tafoya of the family home in Albuquerque.
Christina is also survived by her brother Cody Thompson of Dallas, TX; Grandpa Ted
Kear of Springer, NM; Grandpa Ron Minor (Deborah) of Raton, NM; Uncle Casey Minor of
Montana; Uncle Terry (Sara) Kear of Springer, NM; and Aunt Debra (Travis) Luksich of Miami,
NM; as well as cousins Kevin (Tatiana) Kear, Cody Kear, Cassidy Kear, Kathryn Kear, Austin
(Jaylyn) Luksich, Tyler Luksich, and Teddy and Carmela Kear.
Services for Christina Maria Kear will be held on January 15, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Catholic
Church in Springer, NM. with Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Internment will immediately follow at the Springer Cemetery and a meal will be served at St.Joseph’s Parish Hall. Pallbearers are Kevin Kear, Cody Kear, Austin Luksich, Tyler
Luksich, Casey Minor, and Cody Thompson.
