In Loving Memory of Betty Garcia

Betty Garcia, went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2022.

She had a long and beautiful life with her husband, Sam Garcia, and five children, Sandra Villegas, Terrie Lobato, Juan Sisneros, Lisa Garcia, and Marcos Montoya.

Betty loved to travel and worked various jobs in her time.

She met various movie stars when she worked in Las Vegas, NV .  She enjoyed working at the Fisher’s Peak Soup Kitchen. She loved cooking lunches for the people in her community.

Betty was also known for her famous Biscochitos and coffee, for the people who would stop by the house.

Her grandchildren will long remember all the time she spent playing and caring for them.

She loved gambling, yard sales, and thrift stores.

Betty loved dancing at the LaCasa, to live Spanish music, and loved caring for her dogs.

Betty went home to be with her parents, Manuel and Flora Sandoval, sisters Ramona McQueary, Vera Tafoya, Helen Watley, brothers Alex (Butch) Sandoval, Manuel Sandoval, Pat Sandoval, and sons in law, Louis Sisneros, Robert Lobato, and David Fahey.

Betty is survived by her loving husband Sam Garcia and her loving children and their families, Sandra  Villegas, (Juan), Latoyia (Candido) Armando, Johnny (Kelsey), Jimmy (Nikki),……..  Terrie Lobato,, Trey, Sam (Nora), Dennis,…….. Joan Sisneros (Jack), Naomi (Maurice), Joseph (Mari), Orlando (Rachell), Carlos (Jenna), Rosendo (Ariana) …….. Lisa Garcia, Teako (Chrissy), Takota,…… Marcos Montoya, Marcos Jr. Marcello,

numerous great grandkids and great great grandkids.

Visitation will be Monday, January 17, 2022, from 2 pm-4 pm with Rosary beginning at 4 pm at the Comi Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 10 am at First Christian Church with Pastor Cary Nelson officiating.

Interment will follow at the San Juan Plaza Cemetery.

Arrangements were made under the direction of the Comi Funeral Home.
