Ramon was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico on July 13th, 1947. He met his wife Beverly in Pueblo, Colorado in July of 1973 and they moved to Harding County on July 10th, 1980 and began working on the Bell Ranch that day. He worked on the Bell Ranch for 35 years doing what he loved the most and where he knew all the land like the back of his hand. In September 1977 they had the arrival of their first-born child Martina Artalejo. 12 years and 2 months later in November of 1989 they had the arrival of their second child Ramon Artalejo Jr. He was very loved and well known in the community. He knew no stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand with no expectation of anything in return. He will be loved and missed by so many. He always took pride in his work no matter what it was and he wouldn’t leave until it was done. He loved his family more than anything and always put them first. His greatest accomplishment were his wife and kids. Even though he is gone we celebrate the life he lived and the many friendships throughout the years.

Services for Ramon Artalejo are pending and will be announced at a later date.  Arrangments for Ramon Artalejo are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.
