In Loving Memory of Gladys Pearl (Wiggins) Williams

Gladys Pearl (Wiggins) Williams, age 92, died Saturday, December 25, 2021, in Amarillo, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Mountain Time on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at the Kenton Cemetery in Kenton, Oklahoma by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Gladys Pearl (Wiggins) Williams was born on June 30, 1929, in Boise City, Oklahoma to Charles Thomas Wiggins and Lillie Mae (Davidson) Wiggins. She married Jack Lewis Williams on June 10, 1946, in Clayton, New Mexico. They had a double ceremony with his sister and her friend who introduced them, Cleo and Wes Collins. They had a blessed life together for almost 65 years. Lewis died on January 17, 2011, just shy of his 91st birthday and about 5 months before their anniversary. Their love and devotion to God, each other, their children, family, and friends were always a priority for them. Their love produced 7 children, 6 of whom have survived her, Connie McDaniel and her husband Bruce, Ronnie Williams and his wife Marylnda, Judy West and her husband Bill, Debbie Garland and her husband Carl, Melba Ballew and her husband John and Lisa Swanberg and her husband Bob. They had a big happy family, 17 Grandkids, 51 Great-Grandchildren, and 9 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Charles “Sonny” Wiggins of Minnesota, and a sister-in-law, Gladys Padgett of Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her 10-day old son Harold Lewis Williams, her husband of almost 65 years Jack Lewis Williams, her parents Charles and Lillie Wiggins, a grandson Bryan David Williams, 2 sisters, Maxine Bellomy, and her husband Fred and Addeen Faubus and husband Claude.
