Jennie Louise Sanchez, 71 years old, received her Angel Wings and was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on November 12, 2021. Jennie was born on September 27, 1950, in Miami New Mexico to Joe and Lucy Fernandez. Jennie was raised in Cimarron N.M. with her parents and eleven siblings. On February 23, 1971, she married the love of her life Robert “Bobby” Sanchez. Together they enjoyed 50 years of Holy Matrimony. Throughout those years, Jennie worked and retired from Philmont Scout Ranch, making numerous lifelong friends and building lifetime relationships.
During her free time, Jennie enjoyed spending time with her friends and doing several types of craft projects, making everything from keychains to calendars, but her true passion was her family. Jennie was a Loving and Devoted Mother and Grandmother. Her family meant the world to her, and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them. She loved spending time with her Grandchildren, teaching, playing, and chasing them around the house. Jennie was a strong Catholic and spreading the Lord’s love came naturally to her.
Jennie was truly an Angel on Earth, her smile that would brighten a room, her kindness, and her loving stature was a testament seen by everyone especially those she loved. Jennie leaves behind her Loving Husband Robert Sanchez, Daughter Bobbie Jean Gonzales, Son James Sanchez & spouse Angel Trujillo. Ten Grand Children (Ryan Gonzales & spouse Morgan Espinoza, Haley Gonzales, Allyssa Sanchez, Marcus Gonzales, Mariah Sanchez, Destiny Sanchez, Devõn Sanchez, Andria Sanchez, Amanda Sanchez, and Nathaniel Sanchez) Three great grand Children, (Carmen Gonzales, Zeke Gurule, and Hezekiah Gonzales) Three Brothers and Five Sisters, numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends. Jennie was an amazingly sweet lady and she truly cared about everyone she knew.
Jennie is proceeded in death by her Mother and Father, Joe and Lucy Fernandez, Son Jonathan Sanchez, and Brothers Robert “Boy” Fernandez and Jose Fernandez and Sister Fabiola Fernandez.
