Patrick Phillip Vichiarelli, 67, was called home by the Lord on December 7, with his family by his side in Broomfield, Colorado.
Patrick was born July 20, 1954, in California to Louise and Antionette Vichiarelli. He was raised in Raton, New Mexico alongside his loving sister, Sharon. After Graduating DeVry University in Arizona with an Engineering degree, Patrick worked briefly in California before settling in Colorado and having two children, Ellainey and Antony. He built a lifelong career and retired as an Electrical Engineer. He married his long time sweetheart, Gussie, who he lovingly referred to as “Gertrude” and remained happily married until the time of this passing.
Patrick was a devout Catholic and attended mass weekly at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church and volunteered his time serving his community by a Stephen Minister through Nativity of our Lord.
He had many interests and lifelong passions including family, music, and motorcycles. Patrick was a guitar enthusiast who enjoyed practicing and playing with different bands and friends throughout the years. He loved spending his summers and weekends riding his beloved Harley as well as planning camping trips and barbecues with the boys. He also devoted much of his time and energy caring for family members such as his children, grandchildren, wife and the many dogs he always had by his side.
Mr. Vichiarelli is survived by his wife Gussie, his son, Antony Vichiarelli; his daughter Ellainey (Bryant) Jackson; his grandchildren, Jaxson, Dregan, and Charlette; his step daughters Jasmine and Daphne Bruton; his sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Mark Riddiford along with his 3 nieces, their spouses and his 15 grand nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Antionette Vichiarelli.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 17th at 1 p.m. Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in Broomfield, Colorado. A viewing will be held from 12:30 – 1:00 p.m. Following Mass, his committal will be held at Broomfield County Commons Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow the burial at the family home.
