2021. He was born July 29, 1951, in Raton, New Mexico to Roy & Marie Butt.
David in his young years worked at Plaza Super Market. He graduated from Raton High school in 1970.
He married his High School Sweetheart Patricia Martin, in 1971. He worked with the family business Butt
Brother’s Construction & B.T.U Block & Concrete, a volunteer with Raton Fire Department, and also
joined the New Mexico National Guard. He also was a member of the Master Gardeners.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Butt of the family home, his daughter Annie Grubelnik, son-in-law
Chad, grandsons David and Caedan of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Amanda Wiseman & Doug Williams,
granddaughter Taylin Baker, great-grandchildren Harmony & Hollis Pacheco of Raton. Sisters Virginia
Kachelmeier, Lori Perez, brothers Jimmie, and Larry Butt. He had many family and friends that are also
very special to him.
Proceeded in death by his parents Roy & Marie Butt, brother Bobby Butt, his best fur-friend Frisky.
Services will be November 23, 2021, @ 10:00 am at the Family Worship Center in Raton, NM, Rite of
Committal and Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, reception to follow at the Elks Lodge.
