In Loving Memory of William Joseph “BJ” (Billy Joe) Young

William Joseph “BJ” (Billy Joe) Young, 66 of Bridgeton, Missouri unexpectedly passed away on October 27, 2021. He was born on March 22, 1955, in Raton, New Mexico to Judith “Judy” (Graham) and the late James “Jim” Young.

BJ is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Dawne “Sue”, his mother Judy, his son Clinton, brother to Jeff (Sandra), Ruby (Mike) Alexander, brother-in-law to Donna (Patrick) Oberle, Joe (Judy) Feldewerth, Robyn and Steve Feldewerth, a loving uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews, along with numerous cousins. He will be truly missed by many, especially his sweet pup, Dorey Marie.

BJ was known in the community as a respected contractor and was never without his trusty tape measure. He had a love for many things, music, rock and roll, fast cars, motorcycles, Mexican food, and a good margarita. BJ and Sue had a love for the salty water, they adventured together on many vacations that included scuba diving. He was also an avid fan of football while rooting on his Denver Broncos.

Services: A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, November 10, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road Saint Ann, Missouri. Interment immediately following service at Mount Lebanon Cemetery 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road Saint Ann, Missouri.

In honor of BJ, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
