Born on March 27, 1943, in Ocate, NM, to the late Jose Martinez and Julianita Aragon, Mary was the last surviving sibling of 18 children. Most recently being preceded in death by her sisters and brothers: Rafaelita Bustos, Epifania Casias, Beda Lovato, Juanito Martinez, Florentino & Mike Pacheco, and two grandsons Rudy Martinez and Steven Jensen, one great-grandson Asher Iacobell, other family members and friends.
Mary was a friendly and well-known member of the community working as a CNA, Home Health Care Aid & also did housekeeping for over 30 years in Springer, Las Vegas, Raton Hospitals, and Hospice care.
Mary was an avid Springer Red Devil fan, frequently attending any game she could. Braving the elements to support the youth of the community. When she wasn’t at local games, she could be found finding joy in loving houses of the Lord or cheering on her favorite teams: the LA Lakers and Dallas Cowboys.
Mary was an understanding and devoted mother being survived by her four children: Marcella Jensen and spouse Darwin; Dolores “Dodi” Martinez-Romero, of Springer, Jerry Aragon, and spouse Nicole; Patricia “Patty” Martinez all of Raton; One brother-in-law: Abran “Boli” Casias of Sapello, NM
Additionally, being survived by 20 beloved grandchildren & their spouses:

Recitation of The Most Holy Rosary will be on Thursday, October 28, beginning at 10:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Springer, NM. with Father Trieu as the Celebrant. Inurnment will be at a later date
