Flora Elda Castellini, age 96, passed away peacefully at home in Raton, NM on October 2, 2021. She was born in Red Lodge, MT on March 9, 1925, to Costantino and Teresa Natali.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Louie Castellini, her parents, and her brother Aldo.
She is survived by her three daughters, Sharon McGarity (Robert), Linda Romero, Vickie Blaisure (Jeffrey). She has ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and countless friends.
As a young adult, Flora assisted her parents by working at the Natali Café in Red Lodge. In 1950, after she married Louie in Raton, they moved to Los Angeles, CA to assist in managing her mother’s apartments. She and Louie returned to Raton in 1970 where they purchased and ran Craftsman Glass. A few years later, she retired and spent her time enjoying her children and grandchildren. Flora was a faithful member of St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and a devoted member of the Legion of Mary.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Legion of Mary.
A viewing will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 5-7 p.m. at Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home. Rosary will be led by the Legion of Mary at 10:00 am at St. Patrick- St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, October 8, 2021. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass begins at 10:30, followed by the burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
