Carol Harms, age 63 died on Friday, October 1, 2021, in Clayton, New Mexico.
Cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest in San Diego, California by her parents at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.
Carol (Straub) Harms was born on October 26, 1957, in San Diego, California to Richard Straub and Catherine (Mann) Straub. Carol worked as a nurse for several years and received several civilian awards from the military for her work in nursing at a military hospital. She married James Roy Mize, II and they had two children together. After they divorced she later married Richard Harms and he preceded her in death. Carol lived in Reno, Nevada for several years before moving to Clayton. In addition to her husband, Carol was preceded in death by her parents.

2 SONS: Chris Mize and his wife Kathy and James Roy Mize, III all of Clayton, New Mexico.
8 GRANDCHILDREN: Jessy Mize, Ethan Mize, Jonathan Mize, Bradley Mize, Hope Mize, Zander Mize, James Roy Mize, IV, and Amaris Mize.
2 BROTHERS: Robert Straub and Donald Straub both from San Diego, California.
