In Loving Memory of Phillip Lee Garcia Sr.

Phillip Lee Garcia Sr. went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2021.
He was born in La Junta, CO on February 24, 1956, to Dorothy and Manual Garcia. He worked at Walmart for 24 years before retiring in 2019. He was a loving and generous person to everyone. His favorite things to do were spending time with family, making jokes, star gazing, sitting outside, animal watching, scratching lotto tickets, and drinking coffee.
He is preceded in death by his Mother Dorothy Garcia; his father Manuel Garcia; his son Manual Lee Garcia; his brothers Richard Garcia, Raymond Garcia, Sonnie Garcia, Fermin Cordova, and Larry Garcia; sisters Ruth White, Georgia Gurule, and Gloria Torres.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Adeline Garcia; his daughters Christy Garcia, Stephanie Garcia, Nohelle Morales, Casey Austin, Melanie Boothe, Sandra Lucas; his sons Phillip Lee Garcia, Adam Garcia and Victor Morales; his grandchildren Michaela, Kayleigh, Aaleigha, Kelly, Tyrique, Easton, Maya, Adam, Iollee, Ellena, Arabella, and Kehlani; his great-grandchildren Leonardo, Madelynn, Landon, and Carlos; his sisters Louise (Gene) Velasquez, Freida (Tom) Rios, Martha Griego; his brothers Eddie Garcia, Tom (Louise) Garcia; brothers-in-law Jimmy (Mary) Zamora, Charles Gurule; sisters-in-law Frances Garcia, Charlotte Zamora; God-children Tommie Lou Garcia, Cheryl Torres, Beth Garcia, Charlene Gurule, Tina Trujillo; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
The service will be at Faith Christian Fellowship Church at 2608 Santa Fe Trail in Trinidad, Colorado on Friday, October 1, at 3 pm, and will also be live-streamed on Facebook. Masks and social distancing will be required.
