In Loving Memory of Faye Henley

Faye Henley, age 63 died on Sunday, September 26, 2021, in Clayton, New Mexico.Cremation has taken place and services will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Faye (Van Houten) Henley was born on July 7, 1958, in Monahans, Texas to Antonio Van Houten and Myrtle (Taylor) Van Houten. Faye married Jim Henley on August 12, 1983, in Dalhart, Texas. She worked for several years at different hotels and motels in Clayton and then went to work for the North East New Mexico Detention Facility in Clayton where she worked until she retired. Faye was very active in the Clayton Gospel Church for many years and she loved her church family. Faye loved her family and especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, by two sisters, Toni Ree Derrick and Zona Oldham, and by a grandson, Maverick John.

SURVIVORS:

HUSBAND: Jim Henley of Clayton, New Mexico.

1 DAUGHTER: Abigail Norton and her husband Sean of Maryland.

3 SONS: Tony McHenry, Allen McHenry of Crestview, Florida, and Adam Henley and his wife Jeanie of Dalhart, Texas.

12 GRANDCHILDREN: Amee Norton, Brittney Pulliam and her husband Landon, Anthony McHenry, Caitlyn Johnson & Sarah Belle Johnson and their mother Karen Johnson, Logan McHenry, Taylor McHenry, Julianna McHenry, Karley Valdez, Nevaeh Faye, James Henley, and Aaron Henley.

1 GREAT-GRANDDAUGHTER: Wynona Pulliam.

2 SISTERS: Marlene Rasco of Amarillo, Texas, and Norma Thompson and her husband Tommy of Dalhart, Texas.

And several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
