In Loving Memory of Ryan Guy Middlebrook

Ryan Guy Middlebrook, age 41, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, on June 8, 2021, at Lovelace Medical in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ryan was born March 15th, 1980 in Wilcox, Arizona, to Craig Middlebrook and Wendy Romero-Middlebrook. Ryan was a graduate of Valley Union High School in Elfrida, Arizona. After graduation, Ryan came to Raton to live with his Grandpa Tom Romero. Ryan then became a truck driver for 20 years at Southwest Hollow Metal.
Ryan is survived by his father Craig and Taco Tina; his loving wife Robin; his son’s Chance, Chase and his daughter Khloe Jo and their dog Wilma. He is also survived by his brother Jake Middlebrook (Tracy); His sisters Nikki Middlebrook (Daniel)and Shandi Fager (Trey); Step-sisters Shalyn Barber (Josh), Shiloh Hernandez (Matthew); Brothers-in-laws John (Dinger) Martinez (Diane); Edward Martinez; Sister-in-law Tatiana Martinez. His in-laws Lori and Blake Fissel, Solomon and Sharon Martinez; Nephews Daryn, Dylyn, Dephen, Ethan, Harley, Joshua and Bodiee; Nieces Haydyn, Charliey, Stevi, Layla, Tiana, Taylynn, Ebonee, Sutton, Avianna, Chante, Briana; Great-nephew Cashdyn Romero. Aunt Sunny(Patrick) Mares. Uncles Pat (Jody) Middlebrook and Dean Jolly. Ryan also survived by numerous great uncles,aunts cousins and his special cousin Lance Romero. Lifelong friend and partner in Crime Benchy (Grace) Bojorquez.
He was as preceded in death by his mother, Wendy Romero-Middlebrook; his maternal grandparents Tom and Myarna Wallace-Romero; his paternal grandparents Don and Flora Jolly.
Ryan was a devoted father and lived each day for his children. Ryan loved watching Raton Athletics. People could always hear him either cheering or booing the refs. You always knew he was in the stands. He was always so kind and giving. He always had an open door to whoever needed one. Ryan was one of a kind loved his sunglasses and will be missed by many. The Middlebrook Family would like to Thank Dr. Leonardo Lopez Ryan loved him they became good pals. Special thanks to Miner Colfax Medical Center nursing staff for all they did taking good care of Ryan.
