Jeffrey M. Robinson, of Trinidad Colorado, passed away on June 2, 2021 due to complications from COVID-19. He was born April 1, 1956, in Trinidad, CO, to Albert & Melanie Robinson. Jeff was raised in Weston, CO, working for Robinson Sawmill all through high school. He graduated from Primero High School in 1974; and in that same year, he married his high school sweetheart, Ellen Sandoval. They went on to have five children, Chris, Brandy, Carey, Jennifer and Eric. Working for the company his father founded, Al’s Gas Service, Jeff eventually took over the business and built it into the flourishing business it is today. Anyone who knew Jeff knew of his solid work ethic and his passion for life. He loved traveling with his wife and spending his time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, ATV-ing, water skiing, aviation, basketball, softball, spending time in the outdoors, and watching his grandkids grow up. Jeff was very adventurous and would try any activity, even learning how to snowboard in his 50s. He used to bowl and golf with his wife before his grandchildren filled up his time. He was a friend to all and would always lend a helping hand. He will be remembered for his teasing jokes and the kindness and love he gave to everyone he met. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Melanie, father and mother-in-law, Alfonso and Ramona Sandoval, son, Eric Robinson, sister-in-law, Debbie Robinson, nephew, Gene J.
