Al will always be remembered by being a dedicated Panther fan sporting his Panther Gear. Anytime Al was out he always had a hug or handshake to everyone he encountered. He will always be remembered by his contagious smile and willing to help out anyone who asked him. He will truly be missed by everyone who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father Florentino Montoya, Brothers, Paul Montoya, Steve Montoya, and Daniel Vern Montoya.
He is survived by his long-life partner Clorinda Cloud and son Alan Montoya of Raton, NM., daughter Monica Montoya of Trinidad, CO., one granddaughter Myaah, his beloved Love Bug. He is also survived by his mother Sylvia Montoya of Raton, NM. Sisters; Gloria Montoya of Raton, NM., Patty Chavez and husband Ralph of San Jose, CA., sister Rose Lucchesi of Susanville, CA., Brother Raymond Montoya and wife Roberta, Richard Montoya, Larry Montoya and Michael and Wife Lorraine Montoya all of Raton, NM. Also, surviving is John Guara of Tulsa OK., Hennrietta Guara of Albuquerque, NM. Numerous aunts, uncle’s nieces, and nephews.
At Al’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
