Alice S. Martinez age 67, of Raton passed away on February 4, 2021. Alice was born on April 4, 1953 to Guillermo and Mary Martinez. She was a great loving Mother and sister.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents Guillermo and Mary Martinez, her son Leon Darias Jr. and sister Isabel Jaramillo and husband Alfred, Angnes Lopez and husband Ben, sister Marcella Martinez and sister-in-law Gloria Martinez, brothers Danniel Martinez and Johnny Martinez, brothers -in-law Ray Bachmeier and Anthony M. Duran.
Alice is survived by 3 children; Gerard Barela of Reno, NV., Sherry Barela of Trinidad, CO., Michael and wife Anna Aranda of Albuquerque, NM. Grandchildren Alissa, Carlos, Isabella, and Cruz Aranda of Albuquerque, NM., Dillon, Alexis, Deshawn, Dekoda and Aspen Barela all of Reno, NV., Anthony Boyd, Ammerissa Barela and Matt Lopez all of Trinidad, CO. Great grand children Ursala Aranda of Albuquerque, NM., Elaina Barela and Sawyer Jane Larson and Hennessy Lopez of Trinidad, CO. She is also survived by sister Linda Bachmeier of Ely, NV., and Leanor Duran of Raton. Brothers Guillermo Martinez Jr. of Ely, NV., Michael and Lepearl Martinez of Henderson, NV., Harvey and Patricia Martinez of Pueblo CO., Thomas Martinez of Raton, NM. Numerous Uncles, Aunts, Nieces and Nephews as well as cousins and friends.
Graveside service will be on April 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairmont Cemetery with Father Bill Woytavich officiating.
