The Public Comment section offers an opportunity for any citizen to express opinions or ask
questions regarding City services, policies or other matters of community concern, and any agenda
items that are not a part of a scheduled public hearing. Citizens will have five minutes for comments.
This time limit was established to provide efficiency in the conduct of the meeting and to allow equal
opportunity for everyone wishing to speak. An immediate response should not be expected, as issues
are typically referred to City staff for follow-up or research and are then reported back to Council
and the individual who initiated the comment or inquiry.
Written materials for presentation to Council must be submitted to the City Clerk as the speaker
approaches the podium.

5) CONSENT AGENDA APPROVAL
The Consent Agenda can be adopted by a simple motion. The Consent Agenda will be read aloud
prior to a vote on the motion. Any Consent Agenda item may be removed from the Consent Agenda
at the request of a Council Member for individual consideration.

d) Approval of modification to Entertainment District Reporting to allow Flo-Jo’s
Tavern Hall, LLC at 125 N. Chestnut Street to attach to the district

a) Resolution certifying the Trinidad PD FOP Lodge No. 70 as the exclusive bargaining
agent for the Trinidad Police Department bargaining unit and extending the rights
under the current AFSCME Agreement to those members until December 31, 2023,
when a new agreement shall be established

c) First reading of an ordinance amending Article 7 (“Signs”), of Chapter 14 (“Trinidad

e) First reading of an ordinance repealing and re-enacting Sections 19-13 to 19-18
(“Hazardous Growth – Defined; Declaration by City Council; Cutting and Removal of
Hazardous Growth Required; General Notice to Cut and Remove; Notice – Failure to
Comply; and Assessing Costs”), of Chapter 19 (“Trees and Vegetation”), Article 2
(“Hazardous Growth”) of the Code of the City of Trinidad, Colorado, regarding the
inclusion of noxious weeds, and setting a hearing date for consideration of said
ordinance (6:00 p.m. on April 20, 2021)
f) Criteria for the formal evaluation of the City Manager
g) First reading of an ordinance repealing and re-enacting Section 1-16 (“Fees for
inspection, copying and photographing of public records”), of Chapter 1 (“General
Provisions”), Article 1 (“In General”), of the Code of the City of Trinidad, Colorado,
regarding production to public records, and setting a hearing date for consideration
of said ordinance (6:00 p.m. on April 20, 2021)
