Christopher Ray (Sharky) Montoya, age 43, passed away on Wednesday, March 10th, 2021 in Raton, New Mexico. Christopher was born September 2nd, 1977. He was born and raised in Raton.
Christopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gilbert R. Montoya; grandfather, Ignacio Martinez; and his maternal grandparents, Jake and Florence Garcia.
Christopher is survived by his father, Gilbert R. Montoya and mother Josephine Garcia, and Grandmother Charlotte Martinez. Also survived by sister, Jennifer Blea and husband Sam, niece Desiree Montoya; sister Roseanne Martinez and husband David, nephews Josiah, Taven, and Decimus; sister Irene Fanelli and husband Steve, nieces Mezmeriah, Dajah, and Avery. Christopher had 4 sons and 3 grandchildren- Son, Daniel Montoya and wife Georjeana, granddaughters Carmalee, Matilda, and grandson Sebastian; sons, Zackary Archuleta, Christopher Montoya, and Nathaniel Montoya; and two step children Johnathan Romero and Savannah Romero.
Christopher will be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Our beloved Chris will always be in our hearts forever. Fly high and watch over us, our Angel.
