Raton Schools Meal Menu – Meal Delivery Changes WE 4/2/21

Good Morning,
Welcome Back, I hope you enjoyed your Spring Break!    As we prepare to have our students return on April 5 there will be some changes to the meal program this coming week.  Prior to our students returning to in-person learning, the kitchen team is responsible for ensuring all of our dining facilities at each school are safe and ready for service.   I will meet individually with principals this week to discuss logistics with food service within each school.
My priority this week is ensuring that we can operate our service safely and efficiently within each school building.    The Food Services team WILL NOT be offering food for delivery via the school busses this week.  Food will still be available for all students and children aged 1-18 as we will still have a 12:00 Noon Curbside Pickup available at RHS until 12:45 PM (Monday – Thursday) this week only.  I will work with Transportation on the availability of delivery routes for the week of April 5 to continue to make meals available for the students and children in Raton.
If teachers would be kind enough to let their online/hybrid students know that meals this week will be available for PICKUP ONLY at RHS from 12:00 Noon to 12:45 PM.     Again, there will be no meal delivery service on the school busses this coming week (March 29April 2) while we prepare for in-person meal service.  For those in school this week, dining service will not change for those students who are in school.  Meals will still be provided in the classrooms all week.
