On March 11, 2021, in Albuquerque NM, Olivia Bernal went to be with Our Lord. She was born in Raton, NM on October 4, 1944, to Parents Pablo and Clorinda Alarid.
Survivors include her husband Andres and son Daniel Sanchez and grandsons, Vinny and DJ, sister Margaret Alarid, Brother Joe Martinez of Pueblo. CO. Sister in-law Madeline Martinez, Mary C. Martinez, and Karen Martinez.
She is preceded in death by Brothers and Sisters, Helen Duran Rose Medina, Jesse and Julian Martinez, Aurora Pacheco, Dora Rivera, Alice Horner, Carol Castillo, Bertha Vigil, Mary Macias, San Alarid, and Alejandro Alarid, also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a lifelong member of St. Patrick’s/St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Special thanks to Raton Police Dept, and Raton Fire Dept. and special thanks to Officer Martinez.
Recitation of The Most Holy Rosary will be Friday, March 26, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. recited by Larry Guara at St. Patrick’s/St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Raton, NM, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s/St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Bill Woytavich Officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
