In Loving Memory of Alice (Cruz) Aragon

ALICE’S OBITUARY

Rosary will be recited at 9:00 AM on Monday, March 29, 2021, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM with Fr. John Brasher as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Alice (Cruz) Aragon was born on November 18, 1934, in Moses, New Mexico to Ben Cruz and Benita (Leal) Cruz. Alice lived most of her life in Clayton, New Mexico. She married Frank Aragon on May 31, 1950, in Clayton, New Mexico and he preceded her in death on December 17, 1995. Alice loved her family and spending time with all of them, especially all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton. For the last several years, Alice has lived with family in the Albuquerque area and attended several catholic churches while living there. In addition to her husband and parents, Alice was preceded in death by a daughter Priscilla Aragon on October 25, 1958, 2 brothers Ray Cruz and Julius Cruz, and 2 sisters Rose Valdez and Della Vigil.

SURVIVORS:

5 DAUGHTERS: Pat Archuleta and her husband Joe Eddy of Los Alamos, New Mexico, Kathy Cardenas and her husband Anthony of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Valerie Aragon of Taos, New Mexico, Lisa Blan and her husband Michael of Clayton, New Mexico and Starr Lujan and her husband Don of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

3 SONS: Frankie Aragon and his wife Barbara of Clayton, New Mexico, Don Ben Aragon and his wife Brenda of Clovis, New Mexico, and Joe Garcia and his wife Lori of Dalhart, Texas.

22 Grandchildren, 39 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

3 SISTERS: Lena Ritz and her husband Fred of Garden City, Kansas, Carol Orrantial and her husband Armando of Lansing, Kansas, and Isabel Aguilera of Garden City, Kansas.

4 BROTHERS: Sam Cruz and Alfred Cruz both of Garden City, Kansas, Larry Cruz of Hutchinson, Kansas and Frank Cruz of Plattsburg, Missouri.
