Paula Jean Ozzello was born to James and Pauline Ozzello on September 16, 1948. Paula entered the Kingdom of Heaven on March 9, 2021. Paula was active in Colorado Politics and served as the Chairperson of the Democratic Party. She spent the majority of her retirement years devoted to the preservation of grey wolves and other endangered wildlife. She loved all animals and was known for speaking for those who could not speak for themselves. She was a compassionate, loving beautiful woman who will be missed by many who have known her.
Paula is preceded in death by her parents, her brother John Ozzello, her sister Kathy Thompson, her niece Callie Rae Thompson and nephew Jordan Choate. She is survived by her sister and best friend Suzi (Donnie) Choate, brother Roger Ozzello and his family, nephews Josh (Toni) Choate, Michael (Justin) Choate, and niece Dezi (Daniel) LaCrue, and her grandnieces, Shelby and her girls, Shay and Sarah Lee Choate. Shay and Sarah were the apples of her eye and she loved watching her girls play basketball. Paula leaves behind numerous other relatives and dear friends.
