In Loving Memory of Aaron Michael Lloyd Jacobs

Aaron Michael Lloyd Jacobs was born on March 29, 1989, in Clayton, NM to Ronald Byron and Judy Jacobs.

He grew up in Grenville, NM one of 5 children, and attended the Des Moines Schools. Aaron would give his life to Jesus Christ through baptism on Easter Sunday, 2002 at Grace Methodist Church in Des Moines, NM.

Aaron grew up with a love of reading. His favorite authors were JR Tolkien, CS Lewis, and JK Rowling. Through these books, he would come to love dragons and knight swords, of which he would begin a collection. Aaron also loved to watch the metaseries Dragon Ball Z – Goku being his favorite protagonist of the series.   Aaron was a happy child, and you would always see him with a giant smile and funny laugh, that followed him through his life. He had the prettiest teeth.

Aaron would leave the area and move to T or C, NM where he worked for Sonic Corp. He returned to Clayton where he would meet and marry Angela Martinez in May of 2011. Together they would have 4 children Jesse Overmeyer, Valerie Rose, Namine Maelyn, and Judy Anna Jacobs.

Aaron loved to cook and had always dreamed of attending culinary school. This dream would kind of be fulfilled when he gained employment at the Eklund in Clayton and had the privilege of working under an actual Chef from Albuquerque. He would often share the different cooking ideas with family and friends. He would also become employed at Clayton Nursing Home & Rehab in the dietary and activity depts. He enjoyed and loved the residents and they him. Some still ask his mother about him and say to tell him hi.

In 2017 Aaron would go back to school and obtain his certification as an Automotive Technician Level IV. He would also study and receive certification in Telecommunication Technologies to become a Network Cabling Specialist, Copper Based Systems curriculum for installation of the Leviton Network Solutions.

On April 28, 2019, Aaron would become the father of a baby boy Axl Joshua Jacobs.

Aarons children were his world, his heart, his everything. He loved spending time with them when he was able to. Aaron’s love for his family was unmeasurable. He would do anything to help them. He was always available when his mother would call with projects she needed done.

Aaron is survived by 3 daughters Valerie Rose, Namine Maelyn, Judy Anna Jacobs all of Clayton, 1 son Axl Joshua Jacobs of Las Vegas, NM and 1 step son Jesse Overmeyer of Clayton.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at the Clayton Gospel Church in Clayton, New Mexico. Burial will follow in the Grenville Cemetery in Grenville, New Mexico by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico
