Antonio R. Craig (Tonio, Toj, Nino), 48, embarked on his final journey on February 22, 2021.
Antonio graduated from Trinidad High School in 1991, TSJC in 1995, and went on to graduate from UNC-Greeley in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in finance, a field in which he was passionate about and excelled in.
Antonio had an adventurous soul and was inquisitive about the world around him even as a child. He loved traveling and exploring new places. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking, fishing, scuba diving, snowboarding, and skydiving and inspired many others to dream big as well. But most of all, he was a proud dad, and camping with his children was his favorite way to spend his time. Antonio was quite the chef and was known for his pumpkin cheesecake during the holidays. He was always compassionate towards those in need. He was intelligent and his friends and family often relied on him for his kind words and insightful advice.
Preceded in death by his grandparents Clyde and Mary Breedlove, and Frances Craig. He is survived by his children Isabella Craig (Bryce) and Nicolas Craig; parents Anthony Craig and Mary Jane Craig (Gerald); sisters Danika (Ben) Gonzales, Jessika (Mike) Baca, Amber Craig, and Simone Craig; goddaughter Maegan, 5 beloved nieces and nephews, and 1 great-nephew; numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles; and many lifelong friends.
Antonio had the best sense of humor and he will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Graveside service will be held March 4, 2021, at 2 pm at Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
