David John Montoya, 60, passed away February 9, 2021 in Pueblo Colorado, after a brief but brave battle with cancer. David was born January 6, 1961. He lived in California until the age of 14 when his family moved from California to Trinidad Colorado, where he lived until his death. David loved helping people, fishing, hanging out with his buddy Jimmy and playing with his grandson Landon. David is preceded in death by his father, John Ben Montoya, paternal and maternal grandparents. He is survived by his mother Dora Montoya, brother Mike Montoya (Debra), children Christina McCormick, Joni Montoya, April Cummings and late husband Michael and Tony McGee and late wife Susan. Grandson Landon Montoya, nephews Eric Montoya (Margaret) and Ryan Montoya (Taylor). And a special Aunt Mabel along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will Friday February 12, 2021, from 5pm-7pm at the Comi Chapel.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 10am at Faith Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Bill Frashuer officiating.
Interment will be held at the Fairmont Cemetery in Raton, N.M.
Active Pallbearers are Jimmy Felthager, Carlos Wren, Eric Montoya, Ryan Montoya, Ernie Walker and Will Demchek
