Phyllis J. Loncar, age 85, passed away on January 16, 2021, after a long illness. She was born to Joseph and Katherine Beitzel on July 22, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Ernesto Eloy Cornay, and her second husband, Milan Loncar. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Ashbaugh; daughters Renee French and husband Rhet, Barbara Long and husband John; sons, Tony Cornay, Michael Loncar, Patrick Loncar, and wife Tina, Craig Loncar and wife Rachael. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family would like to acknowledge her longtime companion, Robert Grine, for the love and care he gave to their mother.
Complying with Phyllis’ wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to COVID concerns, there will not be a service at this time. In lieu of flowers or cards, the family suggests a donation to the Dementia Society of America in Phyllis’ name. (www.dementia society.org)
