Antonio H. Ebell age 49, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021.
He was born on September 17, 1971, to Anthony A. Ebell and Terry Baum in Las Vegas, NM.
Antonio (Opie) Ebell graduated from Roy High School in 1990. He attended school to gain certification as an Electrical Journeyman through Gardner Zemke. For the last five years, he worked for Las Alamos Labs. He had the proud position of being the TSA Commissioning Project Manager. His extraordinary, defined work ethnics helped make him become a very successful and respected man. His main priorities were his family and being the best man that he possibly could be. Opie was a very generous, caring individual that was always willing to help others no matter what the situation was. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, and spending as much time with family and friends as he could. He enjoyed being the state’s best Beer Tasting Connoisseur (in his mind). Opie, a gentle soul, will be deeply missed by everyone that had the privilege of crossing his path. Antonio Ebell will be laid to rest at the family ranch of Coruco, a place he cherished throughout his life. At this time, due to the COVID pandemic, we ask that services be limited to close friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his paternal-grandfather: Hilario Ebell and paternal grandparents: Jim and Anne Faye Baum.
He is survived by his wife: Maria E. Ebell, Antonio’s children: Antonio and wife Aspen, Autumn and husband Thomas, Savanah and husband Kacey. all of Albuquerque, NM; parents: Anthony and Terry Ebell, sister: Anita Ebell all of Roy, NM; brother: Zac Ebell (Vinia) of Las Vegas, NM; grandmother: Leola Ebell of Roy, NM; Grandchildren: Laiyna, Lyla, TJ, Isseah, Damian, Nevaeh. Numerous, aunts, uncles from the Ebell and Baum families, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many close friends.
Private services for immediate family only at a later date.
Interment will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021, at the Ebell Family Cemetery in Roy, NM. Pall Bearers: Joe Riley, Randy Anderson, Chris Ybarra, Eddy Ebell, Mac Ebell, and Conner Ebell.
