William “Billy” Barrett son of William and stepson of Sharon Barrett passed away on December 30, 2020 at the age of 48 in Albuquerque New Mexico. Billy was born on February 28, 1972. He was a student of Trinidad Catholic until the 9th grade. He was also a student of Trinidad High School where he played football. He moved to Albuquerque when he was 16 and attended Manzano High School where he also played football until he graduated in 1990. Billy was a self-taught artist and worked in construction building homes until his death. Billy is survived by his father William and stepmother Sharon Barrett, brothers Thomas Barrett of Tucson Arizona, Michael Barrett of Aurora Colorado, and Danny Barrett of Pueblo Colorado. Proceeded in death by his grandparents Thomas and Marium Barrett and Ralph Sacco and sister Susan Barrett. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 1 at 10:00 am at the Comi Funeral home with Brother Harry Gonzales officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
