James U. Casey, age 91, died on Friday, January 22, 2021, in Amarillo, Texas.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Clayton Memorial Cemetery in Clayton, New Mexico with Rev. Billy Rammage officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
James U. Casey was born on October 11, 1929, in Cross Plains, Texas to Uriah Francis “Frank” Casey and Jessie Mae (Woody) Casey. James married Bonnie (Daves) Casey in September of 1952 in Clayton, New Mexico and she preceded him in death on February 24, 2017. James served in the US Air Force and they lived in the tri-state area and overseas for most of their lives living in Amarillo, Albuquerque, Oklahoma City, and in Buffalo, Missouri. While in Amarillo, James worked for Bell Helicopter. James took great joy in volunteering for the VA and enjoyed telling stories of his time in the Air Force. In addition to his wife and parents, James was preceded in death by a brother; Elmer Ray Casey.

3 DAUGHTERS: Sherry Casey of Kansas City, Missouri, Judy Casey of Amarillo, Texas, and Cindy Casey of Grand Prairie, Texas.
2 SONS: Rodney Casey of Springfield, Missouri, and Terry Casey and his wife Julie of Parker, Texas.
6 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren.
2 BROTHERS: Jesse “Buddy” Casey of Cross Plains, Texas and Thomas Casey of Cisco, Texas.
1 SISTER: Sally Whiteley of Cross Plains, Texas.
