Florence Marie Lucero, 78 passed away peacefully on January 8,2021, after fighting a long battle with cancer.
She was born to John and Emma Martinez, in Segundo, Colorado on February 2, 1941,
and she had 9 siblings.
Florence married Ernest Lucero and together they had 4 children; Vikki (Lorraine), Ernest Jr (Sharon) , Margaret (Ted) , and Linda (Dustin), 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Florence loved to listen to music, work her crossword puzzles, loved watching football, the Denver Broncos, and was proud to watch her great grandson play football for UCLA. She read the Bible and prayed the rosary daily.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 14 from 3pm-6pm at the Comi Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 15, 2021 at 10am at Holy Trinity Church.
Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
