Dorothy Koyk, age 89, died on Friday January 1, 2021 in Clayton, New Mexico.
Grave side services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Clayton Memorial Cemetery in Clayton, New Mexico with Rev. Billy Rammage officiating. Dorothy Ann (Tumlinson) Koyk was born on July 22, 1931 in Clayton, New Mexico. Dorothy grew up and attended school in Clayton and then traveled with her dad while he was working with race horses and she worked ticket sales at the races. They worked at Ruidoso Downs, Sunland Park, the Albuquerque State Fair and at the race track in Phoenix, Arizona. Dorothy married Charlie Koyk and he preceded her in death. She lived in an assisted living facility in El Paso, Texas for 4 years and then moved back to Clayton to be closer to family, She lived on her own for a little while and she had been a resident of the Clayton Nursing Home for the last seven years. In addition to her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister; Billye Sewell, 1 brother; Jack Tumlinson and a daughter; Kathryn Koyk.

NIECE: Barbara Drumm of Clayton, New Mexico.
NEPHEW: Jack Sewell and his wife Pat of Carlsbad, New Mexico.
COUSIN: Donna Lee Brandes of Dalhart, Texas.
