In Loving Memory of Kennion C. Frazier

Kennion C. Frazier, 72, died of natural causes at his home on December 11, 2020.  He was born on July 13, 1948, in Raton, New Mexico.  He grew up in Des Moines, New Mexico, and relocated to Wyoming with his family in 1985. He graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 1972.  He was hard working and a loyal husband, father, grandfather, and friend.  He was a man of few words, but his actions spoke very loudly and clearly.  He had integrity, moral standards, and a work ethic that are seldom matched.  He loved his family deeply, and always said his greatest accomplishment was his family and his children, and their children.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dixie Lorena Frazier, and their two daughters Kenya Stewart (Russell) and Jalie Meinecke (Greg).  He was fortunate enough to know his eldest daughter later in life, Shelley Carroll (Dean), and loved her deeply.   He is survived by 14 grandchildren, Matte Jacobs, Julia Morris (Nate), Corwin, Eryka, Frazier, Ava, Kyle, Mary, Ivy, Sophia, Charlotte, Walker, Whitney, and Addison.  He also had three great-grandchildren, Paul, Loren, and Calvin.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Mattelene and Russell Frazier, and a sister, Colleen Morgan.  His wife was by his side in death, as in life, and it was as it should be.  Cremation has taken place. There will be an open house celebration of life on Saturday, December 19, 2020, from 1 to 5 at 49 Wall Street.
