In Loving Memory of Mary Blan

Mary Blan passed away suddenly on December 26, 2020. She was born on May 19, 1958, in Roy New Mexico. She resided in Clayton, New Mexico with her family, and she was proceeded in death by her father and mother Arturo and Willie Sandoval, a sister Mary Jane, brothers Carlos Sandoval and Joey Sandoval, and her son Anthony Blan.

She is survived by Her husband: Joe Blan, 7 children: Cyndi Blan, Gio Blan, John Blan, Roman Blan, Angelina Blan, Nicole Blan, and Emma Blan. 5 grandchildren: Venessa Blan, Anthony Blan, Breana Blan, Veronica Leal, and Diego Leal. 3 sisters: Sally Sandoval, Toni Martinez, and Felina Sandoval.

Mary was first and foremost a mother. She cared for and loved her children very deeply. She adopted 6 beautiful babies and became a second mother to countless others. If you were lucky enough to know her you know she was the strongest, kindest, and most forgiving person in your life. She never knew or spoke the word “No” to anyone and tirelessly put everyone else’s needs ahead of her own. To honor my mother I ask that when anyone asks for help or needs you in any way that you please say yes and help them. Ask yourself ‘What would Mary do?’. If we can all do this then she will continue to live on through all of us.

SERVICES: Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Jason Pettigrew as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
