Bobby Coca, age 63, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020, at Miner’s Colfax Medical Center in Raton, New Mexico.
Bobby was born on May 3rd, 1957 in Coyote, New Mexico. When Bobby was six years old the family moved to Cimarron, New Mexico and in 1973 he moved to Colorado to finish high school and work at the chili farms. After high school, Bobby moved back to New Mexico where he worked the remainder of his life as a carpenter.
Bobby was a devoted son, brother, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his only son Bobby John Coca his two grandchildren Coby Troy Coca and Bria Isabella Coca; his mother Rebecca Coca of Cimarron, NM; his sisters Ruby Garcia of Pueblo, CO, Julia Coca of Cimarron, NM; Carol Brooks and husband Wes of Cimarron, NM; Lorrie Smith and husband Todd of San Angelo, TX, his brothers Steve Coca and wife Irene of Pueblo, CO; Alfred “Gabby” Coca and wife Bernie of Cimarron NM; John Coca and wife Della of Albuquerque NM; Rudy Coca and wife Alberta of Cimarron; Tomas Coca and wife Maria of Albuquerque NM, Elmer Coca of Albuquerque, NM; and Billy Coca and wife Debbie of Cimarron, New Mexico along with countless nieces and nephews. The family would like to recognize his niece Cindy Kenneke and sister Julia Coca “Thank You” for all your time and care.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father Estevan Coca.
Bobby Coca will be remembered as a fun loving, dependable, and faithful friend to many in the Cimarron Community and surrounding area.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home in Raton, New Mexico.
