Michelle Elena Olguin, a fun, charismatic, and loving person passed away peacefully on December 10th, 2020 at 3 pm. She was welcomed to the world on April 7th, 1969 at 6:25 pm to the beautiful couple Yolanda Valentina Olguin and James J Olguin in Denver CO. She was survived by her caring big brother James J Olguin II. Michelle had 3 beautiful baby girls, Zari R Olguin (aka zare bare), Jessica L Olguin (aka TP), and Zhane W Else-Olguin (aka bubba).
Michelle, who was momma, grandma, auntie, sister, daughter, cousin, and friend, her presence lit up any room she walked into, she enjoyed playing softball with her father James and long time best friends. She cherished the friendships and trophies till her final days. Michelle’s favorite activities are camping, 4wheeling and fishing with her dad, kids, and nephews are James Olguin III and Justin Olguin. Michelle was smart and loving to all walks of life. She enjoyed taking car rides to enjoy a little peace and her favorite music. She was extremely proud of being a grandmother and mother. She had always made it a point to dress well, have her nails and eyelashes done at all times.
For many years Michelle worked as a social worker for Adams County helping the less fortunate find ways of survival in the world. She always told her daughters that it made her extremely grateful for the number of blessings and love she received throughout her years.
She lived by her favorite bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ”
Friends and family are invited to attend Michelle’s viewing on Monday, December 21st, 2020 from 4 pm-7 pm. Rosary is Tuesday, December 22nd, 2020 at Noon at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Funeral Mass following at 1 pm. (PLEASE NOTE BOTH ROSARY AND MASS ARE AT THE CHURCH) Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.

Michelle is loved and will be missed by many many loving people. We celebrate her life in smiles and laughter because that’s what she was. Mom, you are an angel now. Till we meet again. We love you forever.
