Cecil McClellan, age 96, died Tuesday, November 3, 2020, in Amarillo, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Central Time on Monday, November 9, 2020, at the First United Methodist Church in Texline, Texas with Rev. Jeff Bayley officiating. Burial will follow in the Texline Cemetery.
Cecil Earl McClellan was born on November 9, 1923, in Texline, Texas to John Lawrence McClellan and Lillian Inez (Walker) McClellan. Cecil served in the US Army during WWII. He married Letha Fern (Decker) McClellan on April 2, 1965, in Texline, Texas and she preceded him in death in November 1998. Cecil worked for over 25 years as a grader operator for Dallam County. He was a member of the Texline First United Methodist Church and played piano for the church for many years.
