Lerio B. Tafoya, age 85, passed away, September 21, 2020, in Raton New Mexico. He was born on July 11, 1935, in Farley, New Mexico. He worked at La Mesa Park for many years. He was born to Eugenio Tafoya and Frances Vigil. Lerio was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Cleofes, and Abran Tafoya.
Lerio is survived by brothers; Arthur Tafoya, John Tafoya, and wife Lydia of Raton, NM, Dan Tafoya of Albuquerque, and sister Mary Tafoya of Raton, NM. Numerous nieces and nephews.
At his request cremation has taken place.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 20, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home with Ramona Gonzales Officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Due to COVID restrictions service will be limited.
