In Loving Memory of Myles “Booty” Lark

Myles “Booty” Lark age 73 of Raton, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020, in Raton. He was born on October 5, 1946, in Raton the son of James Lark and Christine Pesikan-Mahannah. Booty was retired from the Railroad where he was a Signal Maintainer for 42 years. Growing up, he enjoyed racing cars with his cousin, Johnny. He loved being outdoors fishing in his boat, going to mountain man rondeveaus, and spoiling his granddaughters, Ivy, Avery, Cadence, and Ruby, who were the light of his life.
He is preceded in death by his father, James, his brother Jimmy, and sisters, Mary Jane and Ruth. He is survived by his mother, Christine, his wife Paula of the home, three sons, Shenan Lark of Raton, Bryan Lark of Beaver Creek, CO., and Justin Lark and wife Leslie of Kansas City, MO. Two brothers, Frankie and Dickie Mahannah of Raton. Sisters, Vivian Baker, and husband Buddy of Raton, Wilma, and husband Terry of Denver, and Vita of Pueblo, CO. Four granddaughters, Ivy, Avery, Cadence, and Ruby, along with many nieces and nephews.
By request of the family, there are no services planned at this time.
Arrangements for Myles Matthew “Booty” Lark are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton.
The family would like to thank EMS, MCMC, and Dr. Newman.

    Paula and family, was so sorry to hear of Booty, I will never forget our times together, he was a very kind and loving man, he would even go by and see my mom, my thoughts and prayers are with you all, God Bless, love you!
