After 109 years of continuous rodeo activity, the Trinidad Round-Up Association Board of Directors unanimously voted to cancel the Labor Day weekend rodeo this year. What would have been Trinidad’s 110th Trinidad Roundup Rodeo, will not take place this year due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic.
“After all the shutdowns and loss of revenue, we just cannot expect our local small business to sponsor this year’s event”, stated Board Vice President Kristy Buhr-Bennet. She sends deepest regrets to the supportive community and hopes that the event can return next year. The board would like to thank everyone for their continued support.
