On August 14, 2020, Mary Catherine Sintas, loving wife and mother went to be with the Lord and her Angels. Mary was born June 10, 1950, in Capulin NM to Joe Phil and Eloisa Tafoya. She married her husband Jose Tilio Sintas of 52 years on April 13, 1968, together they raised 6 children in their loving home. Mary loved playing bingo and going to the Casino with her husband. She loved being around her family for the holiday gatherings and loved her kids and grandkids very much, we will miss her laugh and her sweet smile. Mary is survived by her husband Jose Tilio Sintas of Capulin NM, Sons; Jose Jr. and wife Heather Sintas, of Capulin, Jessie, and Victoria Sintas of Pueblo Colorado, Michael and Theresa Sintas of Capulin NM, Timm Sintas and fiance Stephanie and kids of Pojoaque, NM. Daughter Lisa and husband Anthony Muniz of Watrous, NM.
Grandkids: Candice, Coleman, and wife Leslie Sintas, Tannor, Tyson Isabel Sintas, Franklin and Selena Muniz, Alijandro, and Vida.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joe Phil and Eloisa Tafoya, son Franklin Sintas, grandson Dominic Stockton. Brothers; Edward, Jessie, and Bobby Tafoya, and sister Louisa Trujillo.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in the Mt. View Cemetery in Capulin, NM, with Pastor Josh Duran Officiating.
