Dorothy J. Gum passed away on August 1, 2020, at the age of 72. She was born in Denver, Colorado on January 22, 1948, she was a dog groomer for 30 years, retiring in 2015, She graduated from Raton High School in 1967.
Proceeded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Austin Gum and August Gum. Dorothy is survived by 1 sister Ellen Gum and 1 brother Willis Gum both of Raton, NM., 7 nieces and nephews, 7 great-nieces and nephews, and cousins. Cathy Guerra of Colorado and Jerry and Verlinda Guerra of Raton and some great-great nieces and nephews as well as many friends. Also, surviving is her beloved pet Sara Bella Gum.
At Dorothy’s request, there will be no services.
