Juanita was born on August 18, 1941, in the rural area of French Tract, near Springer, New Mexico.  Throughout her life, she was many things, to many people.  Above all, she was a very humble human being with a heart that will remain unmatched.  She dedicated her entire being too caring for her family and as she said often, “My family is the Wind Beneath My Wings.”  There could not have been a better partner, companion, and wife, nor could her children have ever had any better Mother.  She was the glue that held the family together, was most giving, and never asked for anything for herself.   She also held each accountable in all ways loving, ethical, and moral.  Even though her physical self is no longer with us, she will remain in our lives and hearts for eternity.

The family wishes to thank the many healthcare professionals who assisted her, including those at Miner’s Colfax Medical Center in Raton, N.M., Raton E.M.T.’s, LifeFlight Air personnel, Lovelace Hospital I.C.U. and Long-Term Acute Care Kindred Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Arrangements are being handled/coordinated by French Mortuary in Albuquerque, N.M., located at 9300 Golf Course Rd., N.W., Albuquerque, N.M. 87114.  Thank you to French Mortuary President and C.E.O., Mr. Tom Antram, and Mr. Glenn Zachry, Managing Director.

Services consist of a graveside service to be held in Springer, N.M. at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2020.  There will be no public viewing or reception.  Given the fact Juanita donated to many Charities throughout her beautiful and giving life, please feel free to donate to the charity of your choice in her name.

Even though it is a time of comfort and expression of grief/celebration, the family must ask that MASKS are worn and SOCIAL DISTANCING is practiced to protect ALL.  Thank you.
