The Raton Board of Education presented Jennifer Acosta with a check in the amount of $1,000 from the NM School Board Association Annual Scholarship Program. This scholarship is awarded to outstanding graduating Seniors, nominated by their local School Board members, from the NMSBA eight regions. Jennifer received this award based on her leadership, academic performance, community involvement and extracurricular activities. She will be attending the University of NM in the fall.
