Anne Raimondi Conder, age 94, of Des Moines, NM, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020, in Raton, NM. She was born on October 16, 1925, in Garcia, Colorado, the daughter of Jim and Angelina Lacara-Raimondi. In addition to working for the New Mexico Public School System for 21 years before retiring, Anne raised five children and two nephews. She helped establish the Senior Citizens Center in Des Moines, was a member of the local Garden Club, and a devout parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Anne is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Charles “Chuck” Conder; son, Stephen Conder; brother, George Raimondi; sister, Nettie Saddoris; and nephew, Robert Saddoris. She is survived by two daughters, Charlene Glasgow of Little Rock, AR, and Phyllis Shannon and husband Harvey of Des Moines, NM. Two sons, Gary Conder and wife Wendy of Lyman, WY, and Carl Conder and wife Debbie of League City, TX. One sister, Frances Green of Des Moines, NM, and nephew James Saddoris and wife Mignon of Grenville, NM. Anne was blessed with six grandchildren, Robert Glasgow, Annie Glasgow, Tyler Conder, Justin Conder, Jeffrey Conder, and Vincent Conder; and five great-grandchildren, Sara Glasgow, Joseph Glasgow, Kylee Conder, Benjamin Conder, and Beau Conder, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Public viewing will be July 5th, 2020 from 2 pm-4 pm at Yaksich-Long Funeral Home in Raton, NM. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be July 6th, 2020 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Des Moines, NM, recited by Carlos Fernandez, followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 am, with Father Jason Pettigrew as the celebrant. Rite of Christian burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Raton, NM.
Arrangements and celebration of love for Anne are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home in Raton, NM.
