Tranquilino Teodoro (Ted) Martinez, beloved husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather passed away on April 8, 2020. He was born in Wagon Mound, NM July 24, 1928.
He was preceded in death by his parents Juan & Juanita Martinez, brother Reyes Martinez, sister Martha Medina & great-granddaughter Rylyn Grace Ross.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Eloisa Martinez. He is survived by his children
Bernadine Washington & husband Dwayne, John Martinez & wife Kathy, Theresa Ortega & husband Manuel, Lisa Martinez, Priscilla Lopez, Alan Martinez.
Grandchildren Joseph Guerra, Jordan Washington, Sarah Adams, Brett Martinez, Shaun Ortega, Anthony Ortega, Lexi Ortega, Allie Irvin, Ryan Irvin, Justin Wesbrook, Jami Lopez, Alyssa Martinez, Jordan Garcia, Ashlyn Martinez, Damon Martinez.
Great Grandchildren Emilia & Lily Guerra, Hunter & Lucinda Adams, Jauzlyn, Ivan & Gage Bone, Myles Ortega, Anthony, Kaden, Ryleigh Ortega, Reaya Martinez, Larisa & Austin Wesbrook.
Ted enjoyed ranching & horse racing. Ted served in the army during the Korean War.
Recitation of The Most Holy Rosary will be on Friday, June 19, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’/St. Joseph’s Catholic recited by Johnny Medina followed by Solemn Mass of The Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s/St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Bill Woytavich as the Celebrant. Rite of Committal and inurnment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Arrangements for Ted Martinez under the direction of Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.
