In Loving Memory of Marilyn Ann Wiseman

Marilyn Ann Wiseman 72 a long time resident of Raton, N.M. passed away June 9, 2020, in Pueblo, Colorado. Marilyn was born on July 25, 1947, to Gene Towndrow and Rosalind Starsmeare Towndrow. While growing up, Marilyn and her family spent summers on Johnson Mesa and winters in Raton. After graduating from Raton High School, Marilyn attended Business classes in Albuquerque, N.M. she returned home and went to work for RBS where she worked for 25+ years. Marilyn married Jack Sr. October 16, 1966. They had 3 children, William “Barney”, Doreen, and Jack Jr. Marilyn enjoyed going camping and fishing with her family. She and her sisters traveled abroad to sightsee and visit family members in England and Australia. Marilyn never turned down a chance to go on a trip. She went on several Sun Tours, Cruise Line Tours, and Mississippi trips. Marilyn was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Raton. She was a member of WMU and served on many committees throughout the years. Marilyn served as a member of the MCMC Hospital Auxiliary for 10 years, Marilyn was a true servant for the Lord and to anyone who needed her help.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack, and daughter Doreen Easton. She is survived by her two sons William “Barney” and wife Karen of Raton, N.M. Jack Jr. and wife Stacey of Trinidad, Co. Two sisters Nancy Whitten of Albuquerque, N.M., Linda Miller and husband John of Moriarity N.M. Six grandchildren Fantasia Easton, Talon Easton, Dimitry Wiseman, Irma Wiseman, Alek Wiseman, Dylan Wiseman, and one great-grandchild Jacob Regensberg and several nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 16, 2020, from 1:00-2:00 P.M. for family and 2:00-6:00 P.M. for the public. Services will be June 17, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church by Pastor Nathan Ramirez.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church Raton.
